The stakes were high as two arch rival Supporter Groups took the field in the 2nd Annual Barra-Classico.  However this was not your typical game amongst fans, but a demonstration. Even though  both sides despise each others club they can still carry out a friendly match without violence. Though tensions are still high between both groups, there is still an understanding that we as supporter groups are not hooligans but have respect for one-another.

The activities began as both groups arrived and entered the pitch at field 5 in the Home Depot Center. The ACB in white representing the Galaxy and the Union Ultras in an elegant Red and White representing Chivas USA! Both sides took a minute to greet one another and take some pictures.  As the game went underway, emotions ran high, as fans became players and the reflections on their faces showed their pride at stake.

Five minutes into the match Union Ultras striked first! With a ball played across the box and slotted behind the net. The Ultras continued to press hard, but were denied again and again by the ACB goal-keeper as he kept his team in the fight (probably should replace Ricketts).  ACB tried to rebound back, but the Ultras defense held tight as breakaway counter attack in the 18 min saw the second goal for the Ultras. The first half ended in a 0-2 lead for the Ultras as the ACB made some changes.

The second half went underway and this time the ACB press forward with shot that hit the post 7 min into the 2nd half. It seemed that the ACB got a second wind, but soon after a headed ball behind the net by the Ultras opened the flood gates. There were many hard challenges in the mid-field as the ACB defense tried to hold itself together, but the through balls from the mid-fielders to the fast pace of the Ultras forwards prove to make things difficult. The game ended as the Home Depot center shut the lights on us (cheap AEG) with a 0-5 victory in favor of the Union Ultras.

The Ultras got together and chanted in celebration, but there was still sportsmanship as both groups gave each other high fives after the match. As we wait to face each other  in the trenches at the Home Depot Center this Thursday. Las Cronicas del Rey “El comienso de la ilusion”
Bueno pues ustedes dispensaran la ortografia pero pues es mas facil expresar que verificar espero y me entiendan que no..!!! aparte no tengo spell check en español 

Todo aquel que le apasiona el futbol y que siente la passion por este deporte tan hermoso tiene un sueño, una illusion, aparte de las personales y profecionales creo que la siguente ilision , sueño o deseo es que tu equipo salga campeon que le vante la copa, y que de esa esperada buelta, presumiendo con mucho orgullos los colores de el equipo de tus amores, aquellos que hemos tenido la dicha de aver vivido y sentido esa illusion savemos que es algo inexplicable una emosion un sentimento la adrenalina que corre por todas tus venas cuando llega ese ultimo silvido de el arbitro y tu equipo puede agregar una estrella mas a ese escudo que tanto quieres y respetas.

Muchos aficionados/hinchas mueren sin averse sentido CAMPEONES por eso le doy gracias a Dios por que a micorta/larga vida he tenido la dicha de disfrutar los Campenatos de el equipo de mis amores el Rebaño Sagrado el club mas popular de Mexico el Club Deportivo Guadalajara, el equipo de el pueblo.

En este 2010 tengo una illusion, creo que lla no estoy tan solo, hay una Union que siente,vive y vivra al igual que yo, muchos disen que no sepuede tener dos amores que no es lealtad y que tal cosa no existe, con la mano en el Corazon puedo desirles que estan equibocados, por que en mi Corazon viven dos y los quiero igual y de la misma manera con la misma intensidad y con la misma passion. Es de locos sentide poeta pero esta mas loco el que dise que no se puede querer ados aquipos. El apoyo incondisional a tu equipo se lo das sin esperar nada acambio, solo con la illusion de que te ara sentir, vibrar cuando alfinal de la temporada lebanten la copa y se coronen campeones.

La illusion, La passion, El descontol, El Apoyo tiene que ser en las gradas/ en el tablon/en el estadio, solo asi se sepuede exijir que los jugadopres dejen todo en la cancha cuando el hicha, porrista déjà todo en el tablon se siente satisfecho aunque no siempre contento pero save y siente que el dejo todo, lomenos que puede esperar de los 11 que estan en la cancha es que mojen la camiseta como uno lo ase en el tablon, saltando y cantando apoyando de Corazon, hay es donde la verdadera passion se mira y se siente cuando la hinchada esta presente y as ever chicos a los rivales.

Si en este 2010 tengo la ilusion que mi Rebaño Gringo meaga sentir otra ves CAMPEON

Anyone who is passionate about football and he/she feels the passion for this sport so beautiful is a dream, an illusion, apart from your personal and professional life, I think the NEXT illusion, dream or desire is that your team becomes champions, to raise the cup and do that expected walked around the stadium , proudly showing off the colors of the team of your love, those who have had the fortune to see experienced and felt that, we know that is something inexplicable, is one emotional, passionate moment in your life, the adrenaline running through all your veins when that last whistle of the referee and your team can add one more star in the shield that both want and respect. Many fans / supporters die without experience what it feels to be CHAMPIONS that’s why I thank God for that short / long life, I have had the good fortune to enjoy the team

This 2010 season I have the illusion, I think I’m not alone anymore, there is a Union that feels, lives the same passion like me, Many People think that you Can’t be in love with two at the same, time that is not fair and that no such thing exists, with the Hand on heart I can tell you that they are wrong, because in my Heart and I love two teams equal, the same way with the same intensity and with the same passion.
It is kind of Crazy to think you are a poet but its is more crazy to state that you can’t love two teams at the same time.

Support your team unconditional you give it without expecting anything in returned, only the illusion of them making you, vibrate when they rise up that cup and be crowned champions.
The Illusion, The Passion, The carnival atmosphere, the support has to be in the stands / on the board / in the stadium, that’s the only way you can demand that the players live everything in the pitch but you have to do the same in the stands, supporting 90 plus minutes leaving everything on the stands makes you feel satisfied but not always happy, but you knows that you left it all,
The minimum you can expect from the 11 that are on the field, is to wet t-shirt, just like we do on the stands, jumping and singing supports wholeheartedly, that’s where the true passion is showed and the true fans acknowledge, make the opposite team fell small

Yes this 2010 I have the illusion that Chivas USA sacred flock would make it all the way.

Todo comensaba como un fin de semana mas en la vida de tantas personas en el area de Los Angeles, pero no asi para los mienbros de la barra de Chivas USA los Union Ultras, una mañana nublada con algunos chubascos repentinos, pero eso no importo por que solo habia un objetibo!!!!! apagar el Fuego en Fresno California. Fue asi como los Ultras salieron en carabana y manejaron mas de 250 millas para apoyar a su Renaño Griongo, poco apoco el estadio se empeso a llenar, mas omenos se dieron sita mas de 5,000 personas en gran mayoria portando la camiseta rojiblanca, detras de la porteria sur era donde estaba el carnaval, los Ultrtas rapidamente contajiaron a el estadio con el sonar de tambores las banderas oleando en el tablon el descontrol era notable y ese ambiente familiar que los a caracterisado desde su principio. Esto llebo a que mucha jente de Fresno que con orgullo portaban la camiseta rojiblanca se arrimaran y se unieran al carnival rojiblanco Con cantos como la banda loca, en LA hay una banda, We Love you, were ever you go y Somos los Ultras la sona sur bailabla de lado a lado . Sin lugar a duda los Ultras son Fieles y tienen Awante.

El partido fue bueno muy trabado en media cancha Galindo salio de cambio por lesion,
Trujillo y Talley fueron los que tu bieron un poco mas de trabajo. Hubo algunos roses en medio campo donde la pelota se disputaba y se metia la pierna duro. Fue muy interesante ver los movimientos de Osael Romero y de Blair Gavin al igual que Viades en la defense
Chivas tubo muy buenas oportunidades en barias ocasiones estubo apunto de anotar y controlo la mayoria de el Segundo tiempo fue dominante pero el invitado nunca llego el marcador fue Chivas USA 0 – Fresno Fuego 0.

En el tablon un claro ganador Union Ultras que apesar de el 0-0 ganaron mucho y si lograron apagar el Fuego en Fresno California, es asi como una ves mas la passion por el Rebaño Angelino lleba a los Ultras a conquistar nuevos estadios contajiando con su carnaval y descontrol por que aunque algunas barra se les ha olbidado por que existen,
Los Ultras tienen en la mira el por que estan y a donde ban. Sin duda un grupo de apoyo que su unico proposito es APOYAR

The activities began around 1pm as members started getting together and preparing for the long trip to Fresno. There was a lot of energy in the air as we got all our flags, banners, and beer supply together. As we got on to the 5 north freeway we knew it has been a long time since we all got together and started chanting on our way to Fresno! This was a preseason practice match for Chivas USA, this was also a chance for the Ultras to practice before the regular season begins. We arrived to Fresno after a 3 and 1/2 hour trip. As soon as we got to the parking lot we all jumped out of the van and ran straight to the bushes to release some body fluids… as we jumped back, we saw some of the Fuego supporter group inviting us over for some hot dog links. We accepted the extended hand of friendship so we can get a little closer to their beer stash. However they turned out to be good people and were very inviting.

The game began after a lady singing the national Athem kept forgetting the words, of course the ultras spring into action to save the day! We all started singing “Dale Chivas Usa” and the crowd started joining in. They came over from different sections as they too shared the same passion for our red whites. The small Red Battalion of not 600 hundred but of 6 was right across from us. Even though their numbers were small, they also put their hearts out and waived their flags to try to counter ours. This was first match that some of the new members experience, and what better way to experience it as a away supporter group walking into enemy territory.

The game unfortunately ended in a tie, but this did not put down the ultras spirit as we marched out of the stadium waiving our flags and chanting through the tunnels. This was another great experience for all of us as we got together with the Red Battalion and took a picture and bid farewell. All the flags and drums were put away as we prepare ourselves for the opening season game.
